MILK — a short supermarket horror by Mike Staniforth
You only came in
for milk.
An ordinary place.
A very uneasy feeling.

The place you know.
The feeling you don’t.
I’m fascinated by ordinary places made creepy. The places we stop noticing because we know them so well. In MILK, that place is a supermarket.
The aisles. The freezer doors. The overhead light. Familiar details do most of the work. Hold a little longer, change the point of view, and a routine errand starts to feel wrong.
A closer look.
Frames from the film. Open a still to look closer.
New tools.
Same unease.
I originally made MILK in Midjourney. This version revisits the film with Nano Banana 2.1, MiniMax H3 and Seedance 2.5.
For me, the interest is in the filmmaking: where the camera sits, what we see, what we withhold, and when we cut.
