The detail leads.
The camera follows.
A film can linger on a brushstroke, drift through imagined space, or reveal the scene from an unexpected angle.
This is an AI-assisted creative interpretation, directed and finished by me. We agree the approach together. You approve the result.

Ivan is a self-directed example based on Ilya Repin’s 1885 painting Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan. It shows the creative approach, rather than a commissioned contemporary artist’s work.

Shape the journey.
We agree the creative direction, then you review the film. Two rounds of consolidated revisions refine the edit, camera movement and pacing within that concept.

Before you
step inside.
Will this work with my artwork?
Every artwork has a different starting point. Painting, illustration and mixed media can offer rich detail to explore; abstract work may call for a different kind of movement. If you’re unsure, email me an image before you commission so we can discuss what suits it.
How is AI used?
I use AI-assisted image and video tools as part of a directed filmmaking process. The film may interpret depth or imagine details beyond the original viewpoint. We agree that direction together; it is a creative interpretation rather than a faithful 3D reconstruction.
What do the revision rounds cover?
You have two rounds of consolidated feedback before the final delivery. They cover changes to the edit, camera movement and pacing within the agreed concept. A different artwork, a new concept or an additional film is quoted separately.
What do I receive?
One 20-second film as a 1080p MP4, in your choice of portrait or landscape. Choose the format in your brief. This commission includes one version of the film, plus the credited Instagram feature.
Do I keep the rights to my artwork?
You retain the rights to your original artwork. Please supply work you own or have permission to use. We agree permission, your name and your credit before the public Instagram feature is posted.
What does the Instagram feature include?
A credited feature on my Instagram channel, agreed with you before posting. We confirm your artist name, handle and permission together. There is no guaranteed posting date, reach or sales outcome.
What happens after payment?
Email your high-resolution artwork and brief to mike@mikestaniforth.com, including your checkout email so I can match your commission. We’ll discuss the direction and delivery schedule before production begins.
There’s more to your artwork.
Let’s find a way in.
