Your session
A booking purchases one 60-minute online consultancy session with Mike Staniforth for £125 total. It is a one-time payment, with no subscription. Topics can include cinematography, filmmaking, AI filmmaking, prompts, websites and creative tools. The meeting takes place on Google Meet at the confirmed time.
What is included
The live conversation, screen sharing where useful, and a short email recap of agreed next steps. Full script reads, extended viewing, finished creative work, coding, deployment work and ongoing support are not included unless separately agreed. Advice is based on the material available during the session; a specific commercial or creative result is not guaranteed.
Payment and confirmation
Stripe processes payment. A time is confirmed only after payment has been verified and the calendar appointment created. You receive a Google Calendar invitation and meeting link. If payment succeeds but the selected time cannot be confirmed, we will arrange a suitable alternative or provide a full refund.
Changes and cancellation
Email mike@mikestaniforth.com to request a change or cancellation. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice where possible. You can cancel an unused session before it begins for a full refund. If Mike cancels, you can choose another time or a full refund. Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method and are not automatic when a calendar event is deleted. This policy does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you book as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from the booking agreement to cancel without giving a reason. You can request that the session takes place during those 14 days. At checkout you expressly request this and acknowledge that the statutory cancellation right ends when the service has been fully provided. If you cancel after the service has begun but before it is fully provided, any charge is limited to the proportion of service already supplied. Our additional full-refund policy for unused sessions before their start still applies.
During the session
Please arrive on time and bring one main objective. A late start cannot normally extend the scheduled finish. Do not share credentials or material you are not authorised to disclose. Calls are not recorded by default; any recording must be agreed by everyone involved.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
