Plain-language terms for using the free MS Free FX v4.3 Studio pack.
Permission
You may use and modify MS Free FX in personal and commercial audiovisual productions, including films, television, advertising, branded work, online content and client projects.
Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, upload, mirror, share or repackage the installer, editable settings or any substantially similar derivative preset pack. A rendered production containing the effects is not redistribution.
Ownership
Mike Staniforth Film Ltd retains ownership of the supplied installer, settings, documentation and product identity. This licence gives you permission to use the pack; it does not transfer ownership.
No warranty
The pack is supplied free of charge and without warranty. You are responsible for testing it in your own Resolve version, project and delivery workflow, and for keeping backups before installation or use.
Support and changes
MS Free FX Updates membership provides email notices about available patches, compatibility issues and new pack versions. It does not guarantee individual support, a particular release schedule or continued availability. You may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your licence to versions already downloaded.
