How the free-download form handles your email address and marketing choice.
Who handles your information
Mike Staniforth Film Ltd (company number 10636076) is responsible for the personal information collected through this download. Contact: mike@mikestaniforth.com.
What is collected
The form collects your email address, whether you separately requested marketing updates, the time of the request and technical security records needed to issue a short-lived download token. It does not require your name, postal address or payment details.
Why it is used
Your required email is processed to provide and protect the requested download. If you tick the optional marketing box, your email is also sent to MailerLite so it can issue a double opt-in confirmation and, after confirmation, deliver occasional filmmaking and creative-technology updates.
Storage and retention
The ZIP remains in private Google Cloud Storage. Short delivery records are marked for automatic deletion after 30 days. Confirmed marketing subscriptions are held by MailerLite until you unsubscribe or request erasure. Security, backup and legal records may take a limited additional period to expire.
Your choices and rights
Marketing is optional and is not required for the download. You can unsubscribe using any marketing email. You may ask to access, correct or erase your information, or object to or restrict processing, by emailing mike@mikestaniforth.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
