Terms of sale and licence

These terms explain what you are buying, how the one-business licence works and the rights that remain yours.
Who we are
Website OS is sold by Mike Staniforth Film Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10636076. Contact: mike@mikestaniforth.com.
The product
Core V1 is a one-time digital download designed to run locally with Codex or Claude Code. It creates a focused static landing page through guided briefing, page strategy, visual direction, generation, preview, validation and publishing guidance. Third-party software, AI usage, domains, hosting, payment processing and other service costs are not included.
Licence and permitted use
One purchase grants one buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Website OS for one business. Employees or contractors may use it only for that licensed business. The business-specific websites it creates may be edited, published and used commercially, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, share, publish or redistribute Website OS, its system files, knowledge packs, scripts or templates; use one purchase for multiple businesses; offer the OS as a hosted service or competing product; or remove ownership and licence notices.
Payment and delivery
Prices are shown in GBP and payment is processed securely by Stripe. The download is supplied immediately after successful payment. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and keeping your copy secure.
Cancellation and refunds
Where the law permits, you will be asked to request immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that this can affect a statutory cancellation right once delivery begins. This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded, including remedies for content that is faulty or not as described.
Outputs and your responsibilities
You retain rights in material you add and remain responsible for checking permissions, claims, accuracy, legal compliance, third-party services and suitability before publishing. Website OS provides structured guidance but does not guarantee commercial results or provide legal advice.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits or decisions made from unchecked output. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
This is a best-effort global template and does not remove mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply in your location.
