Identify the blank-prompt tax
Every new conversation may require the customer, offer, brand and technical constraints again. If that background lives only in your head or an old transcript, you pay to reconstruct it and then pay again when the agent guesses incorrectly.
Write stable facts and approved decisions into concise project documents. Keep changeable research separate so the agent can refresh it without rewriting the business identity.
Load context progressively
A landing-page task needs the business brief, offer and brand rules. It probably does not need every campaign prompt or an entire research archive. Route tasks to the smallest authoritative set that can support a good result.
Summaries should point to deeper source files when necessary. Do not compress away prices, exclusions, evidence or approvals simply to make the context shorter.
Resolve important ambiguity before generation
Generating three websites before deciding which customer and offer matter creates expensive rework. Ask the consequential question first, present a recommendation and record the approval. Then build.
Use alternatives deliberately. Request three options when comparison is valuable, not as a default response to every decision. More output is not automatically more insight.
Scope tasks and verify once
Define the target files, expected behaviour and completion checks. Let the agent inspect before editing. A well-scoped task reduces exploratory wandering and accidental changes outside the feature.
Run tests, builds and visual checks before beginning subjective polishing. Fixing a root cause once is usually cheaper than repeatedly prompting around symptoms.
Reuse the operating knowledge
The most valuable reusable material is not a clever prompt. It is the accumulated knowledge of how to ask, decide, build and check a particular class of work.
Founder Launch OS places that reusable launch knowledge inside the project. It cannot promise a fixed token reduction, but it is designed to reduce the avoidable wandering that occurs when every job begins from zero.
